Kids' Classes
Level Up Dance Studio is a welcoming place for your child to learn about the joy of movement. Our instructors are highly qualified and have extensive experience with children. We are a more recreational studio, meaning we don't adhere to strict dress codes or codes of conduct.
Instead, we require that all of our students, and all of our staff, treat each other with respect and dignity. We also have a few other guidelines to help classes run more smoothly:
1. Please arrive a few minutes before class if possible. This gives your child time to settle in and change shoes before class starts.
2. Parents are welcome to stay or not during class. We ask folks who stay to wait in either Studio A or the lobby, rather than in the room with the kids.
3. While we don't have a strict dress code, we do ask that you bring your child with suitable footwear (ballet slippers, jazz shoes, etc.) and clothing (please no skirts/dresses in ballet, acro, tumbling, etc. unless worn with leggings). For safety reasons, we might ask your child to pull their hair up in some classes so a hair tie is useful to have on hand.
4. Our instructors are very gentle and kind but in order to insure everyone's safety, they need to be in control of the room. Children who consistently refuse to follow directions may be asked to leave the class and parents are asked not to argue with the instructor. Any concerns should instead be raised with management at info@levelupdancestudio or krista@levelupdancestudio.com.
5. We take your child's safety very seriously. We have security cameras in every room aside from the bathrooms; if you ever want to see what's happening in a room without a window, just ask. We have a zero tolerance policy with respect to sexual harassment and abuse. Please be aware that our instructors may need to place hands on your child to correct positioning or adjust a movement but at no point will they ever use physical discipline or touch your child in any inappropriate place or manner. Any concerns in this area should be brought to management immediately at krista@levelupdancestudio.
Kids Memberships
Beginning in Fall 2026, all kids' memberships will begin on the first of the month. Until then, memberships may begin at any time. Credits will be determined by the length of the month during which a membership cycle begins.
Membership will autorenew each month until cancelled. All memberships must be set to autopay with a minimum commitment of 3 months. Information regarding the membership including start date, autopay date, and payment method is available online on the Member Pages.
Memberships can be cancelled online, through the Member Pages, or by emailing info@levelupdancestudio.com at least one week prior to the autorenewal date.
If a membership is cancelled mid-cycle, no refund will be issued but the member will retain full access to classes for the remainder of the month. Up to four unused credits may be rolled over at present. This, and all terms, are subject to change. Any changes to these terms will be conveyed in writing.
