The Art of Feather Fans

Have you ever wanted to learn the art of fan dance? Dying to see what a giant feather fan feels like in your hand? Now's your chance! Tatas Fornow is bringing her Feather Fans Basics workshop to Long Beach! In this workshop, you'll get an introduction to feather fans, including how to properly hold and pose with fans, how to select and store your fans, and how to build up your technique. This class will also focus on creating a trick library and transitioning between moves to create beautiful, elegant choreography. Students will be able to borrow a pair of real feather fans or bring their own. Wear something you can move in and feel wonderful in. Heels optional. This class is open to all dance levels, ages, body types, genders, etc. Burlesque is for everyone!
