Level Up Your Social Dancing
💃 How Our Latin Dance Program Works
Whether you’re brand new to Latin dance or ready to level up your technique, our program is designed to give you a clear, supportive path forward.
We offer progressive series, open-level classes, and rotating specialty styles so you always know where to begin — and where to grow next.
🌟 Start Here: Social Dancing 101
Best for: Absolute beginners
If you’ve never taken a dance class before,
this is your starting point.
Social Dancing 101 introduces:
-
Basic rhythm and timing
-
Partner connection fundamentals
-
Weight shifting and balance
-
Fundamental movement
This class is designed to build comfort and confidence from day one. No experience and no partner required.
Once you complete Social Dancing 101, you’ll feel prepared to move into Salsa 1 or Bachata.

🔥 Beginner Level: Salsa 1 & Bachata Series
Best for: Folks new to Latin dance but comfortable moving
These structured series focus on:
-
Core steps and timing
-
Turns and transitions
-
Lead and follow technique
-
Musicality basics
Because these are series classes, each week builds on the previous one. This creates strong fundamentals and steady progress.
After completing Salsa 1 or Bachata, students are typically ready for:
-
Salsa 2 Series
-
Open Level Salsa or Bachata classes

💃 Intermediate Level: Salsa 2 Series
Best for: Students with prior Salsa experience
Salsa 2 is progressive and builds on Salsa 1 technique.
We move more quickly, add more complex combinations,
and refine lead/follow skills.
Before enrolling, students must be comfortable with:
-
Basic step
-
Cross body lead
-
Inside and outside turns
-
Maintaining timing without stopping
If you’re unsure whether you’re ready, our instructors will be happy to guide you.

💃 Advanced: Level 3 (Coming Soon!)
Best for: Students with substantial social dance experience
Level 3 is for our most advanced students and builds on
the techniques and combinations learned in Levels 1 and 2.
Class can move quickly, will include complex combinations,
and will cover advanced topics such as shines, dips, lifts, and
more. Level 3 will include techniques from all of the popular
social dance styles, including salsa, bachata, cumbia, and more.
Before enrolling, students must have mastered:
-
Basic step
-
Cross body lead
-
Inside and outside turns
-
Time changes
-
Partner communication
If you’re unsure whether you’re ready, our instructors will be happy to guide you.

🎉 Open Level Classes (Salsa, Bachata & Cumbia)
Best for: Confident beginners through experienced dancers
Our Open Level classes are designed to be welcoming and
adaptable.
In these classes:
-
Beginners receive clear breakdowns where possible
-
More experienced dancers receive technique refinements and styling options
-
Combinations are layered to accommodate multiple levels
Open Level is a great place to:
-
Reinforce fundamentals
-
Get more social dance practice
-
Try a new style like Cumbia
💡 Note: Salsa 2 is progressive and not open level. Open Level Salsa is different and accessible to beginners.

🕺 Ballroom (New Style Each Month)
Best for: Any level
Our Ballroom class rotates styles monthly (for example: Waltz,
Rumba, Foxtrot, etc.).
This class is designed to:
-
Introduce a new dance each month
-
Be welcoming to beginners
-
Offer refinement opportunities for experienced dancers
Because the style changes monthly, it’s a fun way to expand your dance vocabulary without long-term commitment.
Planned schedule for 2026: March - Waltz; April - Tango; May - Foxtrot; June - Viennese Waltz; July - Rumba; August - East Coast Swing; September - Mambo; October - Bolero; November - Cha-Cha; December - Waltz
